DESCRIPTION

This fine art flower print bursting with luscious sunrise hues is a numbered edition of 25 for each size: 16 x 20 inches and 18 x 24 inches. Latin for "little frog," the ranunculus is a fun and energetic bloom. This artwork comes unframed and Giclée printed on museum-quality, smooth archival fine art paper with a signed Certificate of Authenticity.

These dew-kissed blossoms reminiscent of sunrise pay homage to the beauty of daybreak and instill an appreciation for new beginnings. Invoking memories of pre-sunlight hours where the sounds of nature soothe the soul and the peachy colors of dawn drive out the darkness, this print reminds us to embrace the beginning of each new day.

My earliest memories are of sunrise in Romania. When I can close my eyes and still feel the morning dew on my fingertips as I run along my grandparents’ garden path - the cool droplets caressing my little hands. I would walk back and forth, clutching grapevines and lilacs while the crisp morning air turned my cheeks pink. No one else was awake, and the world was mine. To this day, I arise with the sun to steal a couple of secret hours. Early morning has always been, and always will be, my favorite time of day.

The drops of dew and champagne flowers in this picture are inspired by my childhood memories. Ranunculus blossoms derive their name from the Latin word for “little frog” — fun, energetic, and water-loving, just like my younger self. Bouncing through our gardens and climbing our giant fig tree, I was one with the natural world. I thrived in the early morning mist.

I want the photography in this flower art print to bring forth the luscious feeling of pre-sunlight hours. The miracle of tiny particles of water embracing all living things with their first drink of the day, the sounds of insects dancing, birds chirping, and roosters crowing, and the peachy colors of sunrise when our star peeks her gaze over the horizon.

From the darkness blooms a perfect canvas to create our day. From the silence comes gratitude for another beginning. From the chill, we ignite flames within, burning to experience the richness of life.
