Paper + Print

Let's explore the details of the paper and printing process. I absolutely love paper, and have spent so much time finding the perfect paper and printers to bring my art to life.

Your art print quality:

Both the paper and the printing are locally sourced and of the highest possible quality. All fine art prints are Giclée printed onto museum quality fine art paper. Giclée provides the most accurate and sharpest archival printing results possible. The inks provide 400 year archivability for black and 200 years for colour. All the substrates from the machine are Giclées, meaning all parts of the process of creating a reproduction are archival.

Museum quality fine art paper is used for its accuracy and range of colour reproduction as well as its endurance. It is manufactured from 100% cotton that is acid, lignin and chlorine free with ph buffering for best durability and print stability. The finish is matte, and its smooth softness adds depth for a three dimensional effect and high contrast - ideal for my photography. It is produced in cylinder-mould for an ultra- smooth finish, with a coating and natural white surface that delivers beautiful tonal transitions with a wide colour gamut.

That is except for the Bravery, Love and Compassion prints, which has a soft gloss surface giving the paper a traditional darkroom look. I love the unique feel of this artistic paper from centuries past - it's the best in printmaking for this particular artwork and has an outstanding colour gamut and black density.
