In Italy, I am a woman indulging in the simple pleasures of life without fear of what tomorrow holds. Italy holds a certain magic, and its indefinable essence is my inspiration. Memories of Tuscan gardens and Sorrento beaches, the beautiful culture, cuisine, and countryside all awaken the romantic in me.
I’ve been nearly everywhere in Italy, and I’ll always be called back. As the center of the Renaissance movement, it’s no surprise that I sense indulgence, freedom, romance, and passion here more than anywhere else. When I look at this photo, I am reminded of the sweet aroma that travels from north to south. The colors that fill every little thing with vibrant life and the playful language that dances through the air.
My favorite moments are wrapped into sunrise and sunset — two sides of one lovely place. The same subject, differently impacted by time. Early mornings are for long walks. As the sun begins to rise, I make my way into town, passing roosters and finding myself in a sea of grapevines kissed by delicate dew. Here I am still. Fresh. Fully present and full of life.
Evenings are for falling in love, with orange and yellow sunsets over the Arno river. A glass of Il Boro Rosé in hand. At the end of each beautiful day, every moment makes an imprint on my heart.
The history, the music, the food, the wine, the scents that emanate as you walk through a secret garden in Florence are gateways to my favorite memories. I hope that this flower art print can make you feel alive by reminding you of the simplicity of life and its undeniable pleasures.
We all yearn to be romanced, to be swept off of our feet by delicious experiences. One place does not do this. Neither does one person. Instead, it’s the feeling we allow ourselves when we can finally pause, breathe, and enjoy — reminding ourselves that life is good.
